Eric Sinclair attended a GTD Connect Circle in Chicago. These meetings are ongoing discussions furthering the work being done on the GTD seminars. Very interesting (when do they come to the Netherlands?) and Eric created a mindmap around these meetings. Very interesting topics and questions in this map. It is made in Freemind, the free mindmap software you can download from Sourceforge.
So does anybody else visit these kind of circles? I never heard of them but it sounds interesting to meet up with others to talk about personal productivity, talking and learning from each other.
Just to clarify a bit, the GTDConnect meeting wasn’t in person, but a teleconference – so (thanks to the magic of VOIP) you might indeed have been able to join.
I don’t know if the GTDConnect is available for general membership, or if DavidCo is only offering the calls to RoadMap seminar attendees; perhaps they’ll see this post here and enlighten us.
And maybe they’ll also think to send a seminar to the Netherlands; that would be a great place for it (I’ve only been once, 21 years ago).
Also, I wish I’d created the MindMap of the teleconference; instead, Jacques Turbe was kind enough to do the repurposing of my OPML outline.
Eric, thanks for the additional info. I think I will send the ppl at Davidco a mail to check if they want to come to europe. I think there might be a market for them…
