You’ve seen the stories, in the newspaper and on TV. Restaurants, bistros, cafes — as they say in French — are altering their menus (another French word) to show contempt for the French. We’re mad, really, really mad at France for refusing to support the U.S. plan to wage war on Iraq. We’ll show ’em. We’ll change the name of potato strips cooked in a vat of grease. No longer French fries, they’re freedom fries now. Take that! But why stop there?
