In the past year, I had grown increasingly numb to my surroundings, often oblivious to the world around me, trapped in a self-imposed bubble. My detachment stemmed from the twin white earplugs of my iPod, which in recent months had burrowed their way deep into my ears—and my psyche. A device, the size of a pack of Marlboros, had come to dominate my daily existence. On the train that morning, I decided enough was enough. I needed a break from the handheld music contraption that had taken over my life…

    zo’n “ding op je hasses” is wel COOL natuurlijk, alleen denkt joal dat op termijn de gehoor-organen beschadigd worden. “als het kriebelt staat ie pas hard genoeg” hoorde ik laatst.
    zelf heb ik jarenlang voor grote marshalls gestaan en ik had voor thuis een “kleine” 80W Marlboro met boosters…
    er zijn toch AARDIG wat – vooral hoge – tonen die ik niet hoor. maar, zei mijn zoon laatst: wat je niet hoort kan je ook niet missen 🙂
    nog verdere isolatie – en evt. irritatie – tov je mededieren door zo’n Ei-poot is voor MIJ in ieder geval niks.
    ik heb al moeite genoeg om niet vaker dan 5-6 keer naar konten te gaan kijken bij BbGrndp 😉
